Cachoeira Paulista (São Paulo Waterfall, in English) could not have gotten a better name. Formed from the muleteers’ paths from the past, the city got from Nature its unique natural beauty expressed through its waters.

It was the first city of the region to receive industry at the beginning of the Twentieth Century, but it has not developed its industrial potential, remaining as a rail center until the middle of the century. Cachoeira Paulista has been recently chosen to receive the Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais - INPE - (National Institute of Aerospace Research).

In addition to this, its people give its visitors a big amount of joy, receiving everyone who bathes in its prosperous atmosphere.
